Melted State was officially formed in the Autumn of 2009. Composed of four lifelong friends who share an immense passion for playing music the band has become known for their uniquely electrifying live performances and an entertainment style that continues to ignite audiences.

 

A synergy between members of two powerful Northern California bands, 'Trinity' and 'Kids with Beards', Melted State (as the name suggests) melts and mixes musical sounds beyond the usual genres by reinventing and reconnecting modern music with the legendary roots that have fallen by the wayside. Their dynamic sound draws from many influences ranging from 'Jimi Hendrix' to 'Stevie Wonder', all the way to 'Tool'. Melted State has performed to many sold out crowds in several well known venues throughout the California Bay Area such as; the "VooDoo Lounge" in San Jose, "Mountain Charlies" in Los Gatos and the main stage at the "Catalyst" in Santa Cruz. All members have also had previous success in other bands including two appearances on the 98.5 KFOX "Last Band Standing" radio competitions.

 

Today Melted State is emerging as a premier band, their name becoming synonymous with spectacular live musical performances. Currently writing, recording and producing their first album "Mission to Mercury" the band now tours throughout California playing to audiences young and old and bringing new excitement to the world of music. Some things in life are better experienced than simply heard. A show performed by Melted State is an event few will forget.
